We are seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel who wants to handle complex legal work for all areas of the company in a fast-paced work environment. The main priority will be to provide the business teams with legal advice, assess risk, and assist in the negotiation of a variety of corporate and commercial agreements. This position will report to the Senior Corporate Counsel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, including professional services agreements, software licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, etc.
- Identifying contractual risk and advising business teams on various legal risks/issues
- Collaborate with other departments such as Finance, Human Resources, the IT Security Team, and Sales and Marketing Teams in connection with contract drafting.
- Participate in negotiation calls alongside the Vistex commercial team
- Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
Education
Preferred:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Experience
Required:
2-3 years:
Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois
A flexible approach that includes changing priorities
Good interpersonal, oral communication, and written communication skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
