A well-established and growing boutique law firm is seeking an Attorney to join its estate planning, probate, and trust administration practice.
This is an opportunity to step into a hands-on, client-facing role within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where attorneys are given meaningful responsibility early and supported in their long-term professional growth.
The firm has a strong and expanding client base and is experiencing increased demand across its core practice areas, creating the need for an additional attorney to support continued growth and ensure high-quality service delivery.
The Role
This attorney will play a key role in managing matters across estate planning, probate, and trust administration, with the opportunity to contribute immediately.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing high-net-worth estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters from intake through completion
- Drafting estate planning documents and preparing probate filings
- Administering trusts and supporting clients through complex estate matters
- Working directly with clients to deliver thoughtful, high-quality legal guidance
This is a client-facing role with a meaningful degree of autonomy, balanced by close collaboration with firm leadership.
What We’re Looking For
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active Illinois bar admission
- ~2–15 years of experience in high-net-worth, complex estate planning, probate, and/or trust administration
- Strong drafting and analytical skills, with careful attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
- Sound judgment and a practical, solutions-oriented approach
- Interest in long-term professional growth and practice development
The Environment
This is a highly collaborative, team-oriented firm that values:
- Accountability and ownership of work
- Clear, thoughtful communication
- A strong client-service mindset
- Long-term growth—for both the firm and its attorneys
The role offers a clear path for continued development, including exposure to business-building and progression toward partnership over time.
If you’re an attorney looking for a role where you can do meaningful work, grow your practice, and be part of a firm that’s building something thoughtfully, we’d welcome a conversation.
